Description: Polar Siege. a large scale maneuver held during January and February 1964 in the wilderness of Alaska with over 10,000 troops and 700 Air Force personnel operating as combat ready in Arctic simulated war conditions. C-130's, RB-66"s, EF-101's and F-103's flew support for both Friendly and Aggressor forces from Eielson and Elmendorf Air Force Bases. M-49 tanks advance with infantry towards their objective on Quarts Lake.
